Haussmann's Paris
The Paris we know today owes a great deal to the work of Baron Haussmann, the powerful minister to whom Napoleon III entrusted the arduous task of transforming the capital into a modern city.
We will immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Paris during the mid XIX century, strolling around its grands boulevards and covered passages, places where the miseries and splendors of an era coexisted side by side.
Meeting point: Outside Grands Boulevards metro exit 1 (lines 8 and 9).
Tour duration: 2 hours
