
Latin Quarter
For nearly a thousand years, the Latin Quarter has been the cultural heart of Paris. Many of the greatest thinkers in French history have passed through the narrow streets that flank the Sorbonne, where once stood the Roman Lutetia.
Over the last century, the neighborhood has become the refuge of many famous writers, including James Joyce and Ernest Hemingway. Walking from the Seine to the Pantheon, we will find out a little more about the history of this district and the personalities who left their mark on it.
